Iniyum paadam Ayyappaganam is a malayalam devotional song from the album Ayyappa ganangal. M G Sreekumar sung this song. Manikandan was a bright and smart child when he was younger. He was a master of martial arts and shastras, and his guru was astounded by his brilliance and superhuman abilities. Pandalam was a peaceful and prosperous place. Ayyappan's guru eventually decided that the youngster was not a mere mortal, but a celestial person. Manikandan walked up to his teacher after finishing his studies to present guru dakshina and seek his blessings in return. As he approached his spiritual master for ashirwaadam (benediction), the guru confirmed what he had suspected about Manikandan: that he was a supernatural power destined for superhuman greatness. The guru then begged him to provide his son, who was blind and deaf, vision and speech. Manikandan laid his hands on the guru's son, and the boy gained sight and speech almost instantly. Manikandan returned to the royal quarters, requesting that no one know about the miracle.
അയ്യപ്പ ഗാനങ്ങൾ എന്ന ആൽബത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഭക്തിഗാനമാണ് ഇനിയും പാടാം അയ്യപ്പഗാനം. എം ജി ശ്രീകുമാറാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. മണികണ്ഠൻ ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ മിടുക്കനായ കുട്ടിയായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ആയോധനകലകളിലും ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളിലും അഗ്രഗണ്യനായിരുന്നു, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബുദ്ധിശക്തിയും അമാനുഷിക കഴിവുകളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗുരുവിനെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിച്ചു. ശാന്തിയും സമൃദ്ധിയും നിറഞ്ഞ സ്ഥലമായിരുന്നു പന്തളം. അയ്യപ്പന്റെ ഗുരു ഒടുവിൽ ആ യുവാവ് വെറുമൊരു മനുഷ്യനല്ല, മറിച്ച് ഒരു സ്വർഗ്ഗീയ വ്യക്തിയാണെന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. മണികണ്ഠൻ തന്റെ പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി ഗുരു ദക്ഷിണ നൽകി ഗുരുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം വാങ്ങാൻ തന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നടന്നു. ആശീർവാദത്തിനായി തന്റെ ആത്മീയ ഗുരുവിനെ സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ, മണികണ്ഠനെക്കുറിച്ച് താൻ സംശയിച്ച കാര്യം ഗുരു സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. അവൻ അമാനുഷിക മഹത്വത്തിനായി വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു അമാനുഷിക ശക്തിയാണെന്ന്. അന്ധനും ബധിരനുമായ തന്റെ മകന് കാഴ്ചയും സംസാരശേഷിയും നൽകണമെന്ന് ഗുരു അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചു. മണികണ്ഠൻ ഗുരുപുത്രന്റെ മേൽ കൈ വച്ചു, കുട്ടിക്ക് തൽക്ഷണം കാഴ്ചയും സംസാരവും ലഭിച്ചു. ആ അത്ഭുതത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ആരും അറിയരുതെന്ന് അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ച് മണികണ്ഠൻ രാജകീയ മന്ദിരത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി.
