Business ethics is the set of moral rules that govern how businesses operate, how business decisions are made and how associated resources are treated. It refers to implementing appropriate business policies and practices with regard to arguably controversial subjects that includes corporate governance, insider trading, bribery, discrimination, corporate social responsibility, and fiduciary responsibilities. It enhances the law by outlining standard behaviours beyond government control. Business ethics controls business malpractices and increases business goodwill. It also helps in better decision making and increase profitability. It is especially important in in dealing with all the factors of business environment.
