Implicit Vs Explicit - 02

Images | English

Explicit refers to something that is completely clear and devoid of ambiguity. Implicit refers to something that is understood but not explicitly or directly described, and is frequently expressed through implication or assumption. Explicit things are explained, and implicit things are implied to aid memory. Explicit and implicit have separate meanings that are unrelated to their antonymy. Writing, lyrics, photography, or film that express or depict openly offensive or vulgar nudity, violence, or sexuality are referred to as explicit. It can also refer to an act or behaviour that is queasily graphic or leaves nothing to the imagination (e.g., "scenes of explicit violence and drug use"). Another meaning of implicit is "unaffected by doubt," which is similar to the meanings of absolute and complete.
