A man of good manners is an ornament, but a rude man is a plague to society. An individual’s behaviour varies depending on the group they are a part of, a characteristic of society that allows their standards to heavily impact society. It is not only that social forces influence our behaviours, but that, in turn, our behaviours impact societal outcomes. It is more influenced by things outside of us than inside. Impact of human behaviour on society is a topic to be dealt with great attention as it causes one of the greatest problems we deal today: the growing indiscipline among the students. There are a number of reasons why people allow social influences to affect their thoughts and behaviour. One reason is that we often conform to the standards of a group to gain acceptance of its members. Additionally, group conformity enables a sense of unity within a society. The study of human behaviour has played an important role in improving the lives of people who have mental health and behavioural disorders. It has also facilitated advancements in areas such as early childhood education, organisational behaviour management and public health.
