“Illam pennin chiri” is a very famous song from the film “Angachamayam.” This film was directed by Rajaji Babu which was written and produced by Babu Jose in the year 1982. This song was beautifully sung by the most popular south-Indian playback singer P. Jayachandran, while the musical score was done by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Mankombu Gopalakrishnan. The lead actors in this film are Prem Nazir, Swapna, Jose and T.R. Omana.
"അങ്കച്ചമയം" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഗാനമാണ് "ഇളം പെണ്ണിൻ ചിരി". 1982-ൽ ബാബു ജോസ് എഴുതി നിർമ്മിച്ച ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് രാജാജി ബാബുവാണ്. ഈ ഗാനം തെന്നിന്ത്യൻ പിന്നണി ഗായകനായ പി. ജയചന്ദ്രൻ മനോഹരമായി ആലപിച്ചപ്പോൾ സംഗീതം ജി.ദേവരാജനും നിർവഹിച്ചു. മങ്കൊമ്പ് ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണനാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. പ്രേം നസീർ, സ്വപ്ന, ജോസ്, ടി.ആർ. ഓമന എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന അഭിനേതാക്കൾ.
