This is a song from the movie “Nakshathrangale Kaval.” The song “Ila kozhinja tarunirakal ikkiliarnu veendum thalir vannu thudupulakathalirukal vannu. Poyvaru shishirame, ni varu vasanthame, ni varu (Ila kozhinja ...) Iru hridayashalabhangal chiraku vidarthi, rithumangala malarmankakal chilambu charthi, mughathe lejja muthu vechha mukhapadam neeki....” was penned by the legendary poet of yesteryears ONV Kurup and the music composed by G. Devarajan. The voice for this song was lent by P Jayachandran and P Madhuri. This movie released in the year 1978 was an adaptation of the acclaimed Kerala Sahitya Academy Award winning novel, by the same name, authored by P. Padmarajan. The movie was directed by KS Sethumadhavan and produced by Hari Pothan. The lead roles of this movie were played by Jayabharathi MG Soman, Sukumari, and Adoor Bhasi.
"""നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളേ കാവൽ"" എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് ""ഇല കൊഴിഞ്ഞ തരുനിരകൾ ഇക്കിളിയാർന്നു വീണ്ടും തളിർ വന്നു തുടുപുളകത്തളിരുകൾ വന്നൂ പോയ് വരൂ ശിശിരമേ നീ വരൂ വസന്തമേ നീ വരൂ (ഇല കൊഴിഞ്ഞ..) ഇരു ഹൃദയശലഭങ്ങൾ ചിറകു വിടർത്തി ഋതുമംഗല മലർമങ്കകൾ ചിലമ്പു ചാർത്തീ മുഗ്ഗ്ദ്ധ ലജ്ജ മുത്തു വെച്ച മുഖപടം നീക്കി"" എന്ന ഈ ഗാനം. ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പ് എഴുതി, ജി ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം നൽകി, പി ജയചന്ദ്രൻ, പി മാധുരി എന്നിവർ ആലപിച്ച ഗാനം. 1978-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളേ കാവൽ. പി. പദ്മരാജന്റെ കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ് നേടിയ അതേ പേരിലുള്ള നോവലിനെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി കെ എസ് സേതുമാധവൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഈ ചിത്രം ഹരി പോത്തനാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചത്. ജയഭാരതി, എം ജി സോമൻ, സുകുമാരി, അടൂർ ഭാസി എന്നിവർ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ജി ദേവരാജനാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചത്. ഓ.എൻ.വി കുറുപ്പാണ് ചിത്രത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഗാനങ്ങളെഴുതിയത്.
