Human Resource Planning

Presentations | English

"Human resource planning (HRP) is a continual process of methodical planning ahead to ensure that an organization's most important asset—quality employees—is used to its full potential. Human resource planning guarantees that people and jobs are a good match while preventing labour shortages or surpluses. Human resource planning (HRP) is a company's approach for ensuring a continuous supply of qualified workers while avoiding personnel shortages or surpluses. Having a solid HRP plan in place may increase a company's productivity and profitability. The HRP process has four main steps: assessing the present employee supply, determining the workforce's future, balancing labour supply and demand, and making plans that support the company's goals. Human resource planning enables businesses to plan ahead in order to ensure a constant supply of qualified personnel. This is why it's also known as workforce planning. The method is used to assist businesses in assessing their needs and planning forward to satisfy those needs."
