Obesity impacted approximately 40% of the population in the United States between 2015 and 2016. Obese people have an increased risk of acquiring a variety of significant medical problems. Nearly every area of the body is affected, including the brain, blood vessels, heart, liver, gallbladder, bones, and joints. Obesity is defined as having a body weight that is higher than usual. Obesity is an illness that may cause a great deal of harm to your health. People who are severely obese are more prone to suffer from various illnesses. Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, sleep apnoea, and other conditions are among them. These illnesses, when combined with obesity, can contribute to poor health. These can result in a worse quality of life, incapacity, or early death in some circumstances. Body weight is linked to a number of cardiovascular risk factors. Blood pressure, low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or "bad") cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar, and inflammation all rise when BMI rises.
