History of Pallavas

The Pallava phratry was an Indian phratry that existed from 275 cerium to 897 cerium, ruling a little of southern Republic of India. They gained prominence when the eclipse of the Satavahana phratry, whom the Pallavas served as feudatories. Pallavas became a significant power throughout the reign of Mahendravarman I (600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE) and dominated the Southern components of Telugu Region and northern components of the Tamil region for regarding 600 years till the tip of the ninth century. Throughout their reign they were in constant conflict with each Chalukyas of Badami within the north and therefore the Tamil kingdoms of Chola and Pandyas within the south. Pallavas were finally defeated by the Chola ruler Hindu deity I within the ninth century cerium. Pallavas ar most noted for his or her patronage of design, the best example being the Shore Temple, a UN agency World Heritage web site in Mamallapuram. Kancheepuram was capital of the Pallava kingdom. The Pallavas agency left behind glorious sculptures and temples, established the foundations of medieval South Indian design.
