Groundwater Management

Presentations | English

Groundwater management is concerned with the intricate interplay between human social activities and the physical environment, which is a challenging subject to handle for the benefit of all parties involved. Groundwater management regulations on the ground, such as those governing time, well placement and spacing, technology, and groundwater abstraction quotas, are critical. The interplay between formal groundwater legislation and its execution on the ground is also a role. The important aspect is that everyone agrees that the effects are "undesirable" or "adverse." Consumers, administrators, scientists, government officers, farmers, society, and environmentalists all have various expectations when it comes to groundwater management. The deeper the well, the greater the groundwater potentiality in some areas, which may generate tension between affluent and poor people. All of these concerns are quantitative; nevertheless, in many situations, groundwater quality becomes a greater problem.
