Good Upbringing

Presentations | English

“Everything depends on upbringing” – Leo Tolstoy. Upbringing is the way a child is raised, or the lessons, instructions and teachings that his or her parents impart. It is always to be remembered that the experiences the child gain during his/her childhood moulds an adult. More than the formal education or learning that a child receives, it’s the good upbringing that helps them succeed in life. Good upbringing is about training a child to be a responsible and committed individual; and thereby turns him to be an asset to the society. A good childhood is characterized by stable, responsive, caring relationships in families and in the society. A child blooms in nurturing environment that encourages him/her to explore and engage safely with the world around. A Conducive environment supports children to fulfil their potential. “A good upbringing means not that you won’t spill the sauce on the tablecloth, but that you won’t notice it when someone else does” – Anton Chekhov. The presentation gives further insight on good upbringing.
