Golgi Apparatus and Lysosomes

Presentations | English

In the human body, Golgi Apparatus (also known as Golgi complex or Golgi) is an organelle found in the eukaryotic cells. They are the elements that are responsible for the transportation, modification and packaging of proteins and lipids. Proteins are procured from the ER and are hence processed and categorised for transportation to lysosomes, which acts as their final and only destination. Lysosomes are organelles that are bound by the cell membrane and hold digestive enzymes. The PPT here effectively gives a representation of the relationship shared between the Golgi apparatus and lysosomes and gives an analysis of their differences as well. Students pursuing biology would find this presentation incredibly useful. Do not spare another second and head right over!
