Soft skills rarely get the attention they deserve, but that does not mean that they are invaluable in an organization. Now more entities are recognizing how soft skills in the workplace differentiate great employees (and businesses) from good ones. Successful soft skills training for employees require dedication from both employees and the organization. Employees must be eager to develop themselves and the organization must be ready to provide opportunities and a supportive environment for them to do so. Goal setting is a formal process in which one defines the agenda for personal, team or business achievement and success. Sometimes goals are referred to as dreams with a deadline. The goals that we set should be challenging, practical, realistic, measurable, achievable, positive and flexible and should also be time bound. Goal setting is not just about identifying what you want to achieve but also how you will achieve it and measure that achievement.
