1925-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും രചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ഉള്ളൂർ എസ്. പരമേശ്വരയ്യരുടെ "ദി ശ്രീമൂലം മലയാളം പരമ്പര"യിൽ നിന്നുള്ള എട്ടാമത്തെ പരമ്പരയാണ് "ഗിരിജാ കല്യാണം". മഹാകവി ഉണ്ണായിവാരിയരുടെ സുപ്രസിദ്ധമായ "നളചരിത"ത്തിന്റെ അത്ര തന്നെ പ്രസിദ്ധി കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും എന്നാൽ കിട്ടാൻ അർഹതയുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു കൃതിയായിരുന്നു "ഗിരിജ കല്യാണം". ഈ കവിതയുടെ പ്രസക്തിയും സൗന്ദര്യവും 152 പേജുള്ള ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പകർത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
