Gamification in recruitment - Techqueenz

During a survey in Austria, it was found only 15% of workers in the technology sector were females. To bring changes in the statistics OMV launched a gaming app, Techqueenz, to encourage young females to showcase their talent. The app provided an insight to the females that they were born with immense talent and only a small amount of encouragement and motivation is required to boost the skill. This app initially focused on females of the age group 14-16, as this age is considered a turning point in one's life. The top winners were given scholarships and others were rewarded appreciation prizes.
