The world's most renowned cosmetic company, L'Oreal had once revealed how the implementation of gamification in the recruitment process helped them to hire the best candidate. 'Reveal the Game' was developed by the firm to help the applicants to challenge themselves and compete with each to deliver the best results. It not only benefitted the firm with the best employees but also encouraged the applicants to win exciting prizes such as a world tour and so on. The winner was determined based on the “highest score” and the “best response” to the game’s ultimate question. With thousands of likes on social media Reveal became a popular game and won various industry awards, such as “Most innovative way of attracting graduates“.
