Gamification in recruitment - Formapost success story

Formapost is a French postal service company, that worked hard to retain its employees. Even after several attempts, the newly hired employees left the company and it badly affected the firm's finances. The company switched to gamification with a clear goal of enhancing the employee retention percentage. As a result, they launched a new game, Jeu Facteur Academy. This game allowed potential candidates or players to work one week as a newly recruited postal carrier. It asked the players to participate in the activities such as getting up early, learning postal work, ethics, and so on. After the introduction of the game, the attrition rate dropped to 9% and also helped the new hires to perform well on the job.
