Gamification can be used to engage employees in a variety of ways. It has recognition (progress stimulation), feedback, fun, and collaboration mechanisms. These four mechanisms are linked to the previously mentioned human drivers (purpose, autonomy, mastery, relatedness). Today, gamification is frequently used to attract job candidates and pique their interest in job openings. The traditional recruitment process is being replaced by a digitally supported alternative that speeds up the process while also assisting in the evaluation of the applicant's future job performance. Users are encouraged to stay involved in the recruitment process along the way.
