Gamification in HR - Game-Based Learning Gamer's Expectation of eLearning

Presentations | English

Gamification is the application of game-thinking and game mechanics to non-game scenarios such as the business environment and processes, particularly in the areas of recruitment, training and development, and motivation, in order to engage users and solve problems. According to various surveys, only about one out of every ten employees is 'engaged' in their work. The rest are either 'not engaged' (60%) or 'actively disengaged' (32%), which is the most harmful type of disengagement. The goal is to apply game design techniques to non-game contexts in order to make the overall experience for the employee or 'user' more engaging.
