Cisco's Global Social Media Team has been investing in a Social Media Training Program for the past two years. This programme provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Cisco employees and contractors to hone their social media skills. And the possibilities for putting the skills they learn to use are endless. There are many social networks out there, and many ways to use social media in a business setting, so the skills related to social media are diverse. This is where the concept of gamification comes into play. There are three levels of certification in the Social Media Training Program: Specialist, Strategist, and Master. Players must demonstrate increasing levels of social media expertise at each level of certification.
