It can be used by businesses to engage people with their brand and personalise the job search process for potential hires, even making it enjoyable. Furthermore, adopting a game-like attitude demonstrates that your brand and company culture value innovation and creativity. Furthermore, gamification can be used to assess job aptitude, allowing a company to reduce the time it takes to hire. And, when used effectively, this angle can attract a wide range of applicants who may not have previously considered your industry or company by providing more information about the job's tasks and skills. Bluewolf began a programme called Going Social, which consisted of three prongs: a portal, "pack profiles," and the gamification piece, in collaboration with gamification company Bunchball. The Going Social portal includes two video tutorials that teach you how to get started with social media.
