There would be no one in the world who hasn't heard the name of the famous online encyclopedia, Wikipedia. Even though it is the best informative site it is also popular for being complicated. To increase the number of volunteer editors Wikipedia implemented a gamified interactive technique called 'The Wikipedia Adventure. It is a seven-mission onboarding tutorial where contestants are trained to edit Wikipedia in just a few hours. The training is carried through various challenges. Players can earn badges and stars for sharing a piece of content and copyediting. Users can showcase these badges on social media. Through this gamified technique, Wikipedia witnessed a drastic fall in employee turnover.
