Gamification in Employee Engagement - Loyalty One Case Study

A Toronto-based firm Loyalty One implemented two gamification techniques to increase employee engagement. The first initiative is the 'Pass It On Program'. This interactive technique provides each employee with a bank of points. The employees can use these points to reward their co-workers also they can thank and recognize other workers without giving points. The leaderboard gives a clear idea of how an employee becomes a recognizer or being recognized. The second initiative called the 'Move and Earn Program' provided a FitBit device through which employees could set goals for the number of steps per day. Both these gamified programs have enhanced employee engagement in a better way.
