Advances in technology and gamification have made education possible on a much different scale and through new mediums. GameDesk, one such product that has emerged in this field, focuses on gamifying education by conceiving of, designing and producing video games that incorporate academics. The products and technique involved have proven a remarkable tool in helping especially high school students perform much better in their tests. More on GameDesk is given in this presentation.
