Coca-Cola, the world's favorite and most trusted soft drink always grabs millions of hearts not only for its refreshing drink but also for creating creative and innovative product promotions. Coco-Cola shake is one such campaign where Coco-Cola integrated smartphones, media, and gamification to promote their product. In Hong Kong, teenagers were offered a branded app for free for their phones. The company had prepared a television event and decided to telecast the same at a particular time in the evening. During this time they asked the teenagers to run the application and shake their phones in front of the TV to grab discounts and prizes from prominent partners like McDonald’s. The game was incredibly fun and irresistible because of the octalysis element of Unpredictability & Curiosity.
