Five Star Randu is a Malayalam song in the movie Moz and cat. Moz & Cat is a 2009 Indian psychological comedy-drama film directed and written by Fazil and starring Dileep and Rahman. This film is an unauthorised remake of Curly Sue, a 1991 American film. Kaithapram Damodaran wrote the lyrics for the song. Padma Shri Kaithapram is a Padma Shri awardee. Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri is a Malayalam lyricist, poet, music director, actor, singer, scriptwriter, music therapist, and Carnatic music performer. The music was composed by Ouseppachan. The song was sang by Kattassery Joseph Yesudas who is an Indian playback vocalist and musician who specializes in singing Indian classical, devotional, and film songs.
മോസ് ആൻഡ് ക്യാറ്റ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് ഫൈവ് സ്റ്റാർ രണ്ട്. 2009-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സൈക്കോളജിക്കൽ കോമഡി-ഡ്രാമ ചിത്രമാണ് മോസ് & ക്യാറ്റ്. 1991-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അമേരിക്കൻ ചലച്ചിത്രമായ കുർലി സ്യൂവിന്റെ അനധികൃത റീമേക്കാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം. കൈതപ്രം ദാമോദരനാണ് ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. പത്മശ്രീ കൈതപ്രം പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാര ജേതാവാണ്. കൈതപ്രം ദാമോദരൻ നമ്പൂതിരി ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനരചയിതാവ്, കവി, സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ, നടൻ, ഗായകൻ, തിരക്കഥാകൃത്ത്, മ്യൂസിക് തെറാപ്പിസ്റ്റ്, കർണാടക സംഗീത അവതാരകൻ എന്നിവരാണ്. ഔസേപ്പച്ചനാണ് സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ ക്ലാസിക്കൽ, ഭക്തിഗാനങ്ങൾ, ചലച്ചിത്രഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിക്കുന്നതിൽ പ്രാവീണ്യം നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യൻ പിന്നണി ഗായകനും സംഗീതജ്ഞനുമായ കട്ടശ്ശേരി ജോസഫ് യേശുദാസാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്.
