The Telugu word ‘Alankaarm’ means decoration or something that adds beauty. In Telugu grammar, ‘Alankaaram’ is a literary device that adds beauty to poetry. Alankaaraalu are generally used to express something in a way that is witty, delightful or profound enough to touch the heart. Alankaaram in grammar are broadly of two types — Sabdaalankaaraalu (phonetic) and Arthaalankaaraalu (semantic). More on the various types of Alankaaraalu and their usage is provided in this presentation.
అలంకారం అంటే అర్ధం మనందరికీ తెలుసు. అందాన్ని రెట్టింపు చేసేది అని అర్ధం. అలాగే తెలుగు వ్యాకరణంలో కవిత్వానికి మరింత అందాన్ని చేకూర్చేవి అలంకారాలు. చెప్పవలసిన విషయాన్ని చమత్కారంగా, రమణీయంగా హృదయానికి హత్తుకునేలా చెప్పడానికి అలంకారాలు ఉపయోగపడతాయి. అయితే ఈ అలంకారాలను ప్రధానంగా రెండు రకాలుగా విభజించారు. అవి శబ్దాలంకారాలు, అర్థాలంకారాలు. అలంకారాలలో రకాలు, వాటిని ఉపయోగించే పద్ధతి ఈ ప్రదర్శన ద్వారా తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది.
