"Fatir or ""The Originator"" is the thirty fifth Surah (chapter) in the Holy Book of Quran. This Surah is known to have two specific names, being 'Fatir' and 'Al-Mala'ika' (both of which are derived from the very first verse of this Surah), meaning ""The Originator"" or ""Angel"", respectively, named so because it expresses the aspect of the world power of creation. It comprises of a total of 45 verses, divided into 5 Rukus or Sections. Revealed during the mid-period of the Prophet's preachings at Mecca too. It was during this span of time that the Meccans had grown deeply powerfully. The second known name of it, Surah Al-Mala'ika refers to the Angels and their specific special abilities to carry out various different work on God's command.
