Presentations | English

An organism that contains carbohydrates, proteins and lipids may be complete structurally, but it still does not have all the compounds it needs to carry on its cellular processes. Specialized proteins called enzyme facilitates almost every reaction that takes place in living organisms. Vitamins are small but indispensable nutrients that organism cannot produce by themselves. Hormones serves as chemical messengers from one part of an organism to another. These two are molecules of life. Enzymes, vitamins and hormones are thus interconnected to each other. It is connected to the formation of bones, connective tissues, and cartilage. Enzyme are protein molecules that act like catalyst. Vitamins are organic substances necessary for normal nutrition in a diet. Hormones are chemical messengers that are produced by endocrine glands and is transported by bloodstream to various areas of body.
