Being an entry level accountant means that the responsibilities one may have professionally are limited to the basic accounting functions and operations conducted and handled within the department. Like how the title of the job suggests, an entry level accountant’s job responsibilities would be lesser and less complicated as compared to other accounting officials and job positions, however, that does not mean that one does have it entirely easy. Remember, patience is key. Being an entry level accountant makes you responsible in supporting the department as a whole, by performing and handling day to day financial activities. It is your responsibility to ensure that the records are up to date and are documented correctly. You are in charge of maintaining reports on ledger accounts, profit and loss and more.
