What might be the skills involved in Entrepreneurship? An entrepreneur is an individual who takes the risk to start their own business based on an idea they have or a product they have created while assuming most of the risks and reaping most of the rewards of the business. Success in the business world is not just about having a great business idea or an even better product to sell. However long-term success depends on certain core skills. An entrepreneur may naturally possess some of these skills. Once cultivated or learned, the skills may have to be re-learned or adapted to changing business environments to keep the entrepreneur from lagging behind Practical Skills include: Decision making, coming up with ideas and business objectives, Planning, Multitasking, Courage to take risks, Self-motivation, Conducting market research, and Problem-solving. People skills include: Negotiation, Communication and Listening. Technical skills include: Inbox management, Fundamentals of web design and development, how to use your own computer and how to wireframe a page.
