‘The tale of Custard the Dragon’ written by Ogden Nash is a ballad from Unit 9 of the NCERT class 10 English textbook, First Flight. The poet narrates the story of Belinda, a little girl who lives in a little white house with her pets. She has a black kitten named Ink, a grey mouse called Blink, a yellow dog Mustard and a cowardly dragon, whom she calls Custard.
