“Kadalpalam” is a very famous drama which was staged in the year 1965. This play was staged by Kalidasa Kendra, which was found in the year 1963. “Kadalpalam” is one of the most famous plays which were staged by Kalidasa Kendra. The song was written by the great Malayalam poet and lyricist O.N.V. Kurup and the composition was done by the very famous music composer G. Devarajan and sung by C.O. Anto. This drama has about eight songs, which are also very famous.
1965-ൽ അരങ്ങേറിയ വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ നാടകമാണ് “കടൽപ്പാലം”. 1963-ൽ രൂപംകൊണ്ട കാളിദാസ കേന്ദ്രമാണ് ഈ നാടകം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. കാളിദാസ കേന്ദ്രം അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തമായ നാടകങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് “കടൽപ്പാലം”. മലയാളത്തിന്റെ മഹാകവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായ ഒ.എൻ.വി. കുറുപ്പാണ് ഗാനം എഴുതിയത്. പ്രശസ്ത സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ ജി. ദേവരാജനാണ് രചന നിർവ്വഹിച്ചത്, ആലപിച്ചത് സി.ഒ. ആന്റോ. ഈ നാടകത്തിൽ ഏഴോളം ഗാനങ്ങളുണ്ട്, അവയും വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമാണ്.
