Eeshwarane Thedi Njan Nadannu' is a song from the album Christheeya Ganangal sung by K J Yesudas. Kk Antony composed the song's music and the lyrics were written by Fr Abel. Fr. Abel was an Indian Syro-Malabar Catholic CMI priest, journalist, and lyricist who was best known as the founding father of Kalabhavan, a centre for learning performance arts in Kochi, India. In the year 1969, Periyappuram founded Kalabhavan as the Christian Arts Club with the help of K. K. Antony, a music teacher, and K. J. Yesudas, a budding playback singer at the time. The Club was soon registered as Kalabhavan with the help of Major Archbishop Joseph Parecattil and the Archdiocese of Eranakulam.
കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് ആലപിച്ച ക്രിസ്തീയ ഗാനങ്ങൾ എന്ന ആൽബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് 'ഈശ്വരനെ തേടി ഞാൻ നടന്ന്'. ഫാ. ആബേലിന്റെ വരികൾക്ക് കെ കെ ആന്റണി സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. ഫാ. ആബേൽ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സീറോ-മലബാർ കാത്തലിക് സിഎംഐ വൈദികനും പത്രപ്രവർത്തകനും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായിരുന്നു, കൊച്ചിയിലെ പ്രകടന കലകൾ പഠിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള കേന്ദ്രമായ കലാഭവന്റെ സ്ഥാപക പിതാവായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. 1969-ൽ സംഗീതാധ്യാപകനായിരുന്ന കെ.കെ.ആന്റണിയുടെയും അക്കാലത്തെ വളർന്നുവരുന്ന പിന്നണിഗായകനായിരുന്ന കെ.ജെ.യേശുദാസിന്റെയും സഹായത്തോടെ പെരിയപ്പുറം ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ആർട്സ് ക്ലബ്ബായി കലാഭവൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. മേജർ ആർച്ച് ബിഷപ്പ് ജോസഫ് പാറേക്കാട്ടിലിന്റെയും എറണാകുളം അതിരൂപതയുടെയും സഹായത്തോടെ ക്ലബ്ബ് ഉടൻ തന്നെ കലാഭവൻ എന്ന പേരിൽ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തു.
