Comprising of a total of 200 verses, the Al Imran is the third chapter of the Holy Quran. The chapter is named after the family of Imran, consisting of Imran, Saint Anne, Mary and Jesus. The chapter begins with explain that God is one and self – existent. Allah praises them, the family of Imran, in this surah and he continues by saying that they were selected. Allah asks us to reflect on everything around us. There are His signs, that are evidently present all around us. The creation itself is evidence of what He is capable of. The chapter mentions that the purpose of life is to worship Allah and those who do devote themselves to Him shall find paradise and everyone going through pain will find rewards for them, promised by Allah.
