Dynamic Programming and Genetic Algorithm are two important components of programming. DP is an algorithmic technique for solving a problem by recursively breaking it down into simpler sub-problems. The principle is that, the optimal solution to the individual sub-problems leads to the solution to the overall problem. GA mimics biological evolution. It is a method for solving both constrained and unconstrained optimization problems based on a natural selection process. Solutions for optimization problems and search problems are generated by GA.
