If you want to reduce stress and be more effective at work and in life, learning how to stop worrying is an important soft skill to master. Take action as soon as possible – you are already doing so. Because worry can fester in the mind, the sooner you take action, the easier it will be to stop worrying. It can take over your entire thinking about everything in your life if you let it be there for too long. You may begin by worrying about one thing, but the longer you worry, the more likely you are to begin viewing everything in your work and life through a worried lens. That will only exacerbate the problem and render you powerless.
