Distributed Operating System

Presentations | English

Many of us start the day at work place reading the name of an operating system. An operating system is the basic component of any computer or device. Linux, Windows, Android and Apple Mac are operating systems we are familiar with. Android is the backbone of most smartphones these days. In simple terms, a multiple operating system connects multiple users and computers. It's a distributed system software. Physically separate computer nodes which are networked are covered under a distributed operating system. Data, users, groups, applications, and other networking functions are managed by these systems. All computers have separate physical memory. There is no physically shared memory in a distributed system. This is a disadvantage. Transparency, scalability and concurrency are some of the key features of distributed systems. In-depth details are in the presentation. Please read and learn.
