Disease Detection Using Bio-Robotics

Presentations | English

Bio-robotics is an interdisciplinary science that combines the fields of biomedical engineering, cybernetics, and robotics to develop new technologies that integrate biology with mechanical systems to develop more efficient communication, alter genetic information, and create machines that imitate biological systems. Bio-robotics is being used to help train surgeons and dentists using virtual environments that speed the learning process by facilitating epiphanies. It is used as an instrument for the maintenance of the quality of human senses, complete control of the nervous system, activation of neuron circuits, recovery of damaged neuromotor functions, rehabilitation of vocal cords, and neuromotor system control following devastating diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The presentation provides in-depth knowledge on the topic.
