Computer is the new age master of all things. It provides, answers, helps, assists, asks and is most of the time a friend. Used almost on a daily basis in everyone’s lives, how many of us are correctly aware of what is called the computer. How many of us understand how the system functions? How many of us are able to recognise its components and salient features? A ‘very few’ amongst is the current count. A digital computer usually has four basic functional elements. All those elements and distinctive components contribute to the basic functioning of the digital guru. We use it to enter data and then accordingly receive an output at the earliest. Digital Computer Fundamentals deal with the basic how’s, what’s, why’s and when’s of the functioning and working of the computer.
