The song "Dhoomarashmithan" was sung by P. B. Sreenivas, Chorus for the movie Kasavuthattam. Prathivadi Bhayankara Sreenivas was an Indian playback singer and lyricist well known for his Kannada work. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. Kunchacko directed and produced Kasavuthattam, a 1967 Indian Malayalam film. Prem Nazir, Sharada, Adoor Bhasi, and Manavalan Joseph play the key parts in the film. Prem Nazir as Abu and Sharada as Jameela taking the roles in this movie. Prem Nazir, hold the Guinness World Record of playing with same heroine Sheela.
ധൂമരശ്മിതൻ എന്ന ഗാനം കസവുതട്ടം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി പി.ബി.ശ്രീനവാസ്, കോറസ് പാടിയതാണ്. പ്രതിവാദി ഭയങ്കര ശ്രീനിവാസ് ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ പിന്നണി ഗായകനും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായിരുന്നു. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി.ദേവരാജനാണ്. 1967-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചലച്ചിത്രമായ കസവുത്തട്ടം കുഞ്ചാക്കോ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുകയും നിർമ്മിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പ്രേം നസീർ, ശാരദ, അടൂർ ഭാസി, മണവാളൻ ജോസഫ് എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അബുവായി പ്രേം നസീറും ജമീലയായി ശാരദയും ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ വേഷമിടുന്നു. ഒരേ നായിക ഷീലയ്ക്കൊപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ചതിന്റെ ഗിന്നസ് വേൾഡ് റെക്കോർഡ് പ്രേം നസീറിന് സ്വന്തം.
