Describing People -Template 03

Images | English

For a variety of reasons, discussing someone's appearance is difficult. To begin with, even if you're trying to be nice, describing someone's appearance can come across as rude. People dislike being objectified (being made to feel like an object rather than a person), so it's critical to keep physical descriptions as positive as possible. Begin with very broad descriptions – Using general descriptions will allow you to describe someone without going into specifics. You can describe someone's appearance by mentioning their gender, height, weight, age, hair colour, or eye colour, for example. However, keep in mind that some people are sensitive to these descriptions (especially weight and age), so keep this in mind when describing people.
