The topic is studying human behaviour via a physiological impact. It is also known as behavioural neuroscience or biological psychology, which understands body's response to a behaviour or activity of an organism. It studies about brain cells, structures and interactions. By studying and acquiring knowledge on nervous mechanisms, physiological psychologists can understand human behaviour in detail. Focused topics of interest are emotion, sleep, communication, learning, senses, reproductive behaviour and neurological disorders. Researchers are still figuring out the complete functioning of nervous system. Emotion is a major factor in determining human behaviour and emotional response can be behavioral, autonomic or hormonal. Sleeping is provoked by body, during which there is reduced awareness, response and movement. Different methods used in physiological psychology are EEG, MRI, fMRI, eye movement, heart rate etc are subsets of neuroscience methodology.
