"Deepamaalakal chirichu" is an Ayyappa devotional song. Ayyappa songs are mostly heard by the devotees in the voice of Yesudas. This was also sung by the same legend! ! M K Arjunan composed the music for Chunakkara Ramankutty's lyrics.

"ദീപമാലകൾ ചിരിച്ചു" ഒരു അയ്യപ്പ ഭക്തിഗാനമാണ്. അയ്യപ്പ ഗാനങ്ങൾ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഭക്തർ കേൾക്കുന്നത് യേശുദാസിന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തിലാണ്. ഇതും പാടിയത് ഗന്ധർവ്വൻ തന്നെ! ചുനക്കര രാമൻകുട്ടിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് എം കെ അർജ്ജുനൻ ഈണം നൽകി.
