Cryptography and Network Security

Presentations | English

Cryptography is the study concerning that of secure connection methods and techniques that authorises only the sender and the intended receiver of the sent message and its content to be viewed. While transferring data and sending emails or any other type of electronic messages, the most usually seen use of the method of establishing secure connection is that of encryption and decryption of the send and received data, respectively. Cryptography in itself is employed in order to establish a secure communication in the presence of malevolent software’s and applications or adversaries (which are the said parties). The system of cryptography ensures an encryption that makes use of an algorithm that transforms the input into the desired output only in an encrypted format, also known as plaintext and ciphertext respectively. Move on to the PPT to find out about the differences between network security and cryptography and more.
