There are three SHRM concepts- high performance management (high performance working), high commitment management and high involvement management. Strategic management implies the process of formulating, implementing and also evaluating various business strategies to achieve organisational objectives. The key features of SHRM are there is an explicit linkage between HR policy and practices and overall organizational strategic aims and the organizational environment. There is some organizing schema linking individual HR interventions so that they are mutually supportive. SHRM is defined as alignment of strategic business goals of the organization with human resources, so as to foster innovation and improve motivation, satisfaction, productivity, and eventually overall performance.
