Colour Theory - A Brief History of Colour Theory

Presentations | English

If you're a sports enthusiast, you might notice the colour worn by your favourite team and get a rush of pleasant emotions. Colour theory is both a science and an art form when it comes to the use of colour. It discusses how people perceive colour and the visual impacts of colour mixing, matching, and contrast. Colour theory also covers the meanings of colours and the ways for reproducing them. Perception is colour. Various wavelength combinations are reflected by objects. These wavelength combinations are picked up by our brains and translated into the phenomena known as colour. In less than 90 seconds, people decide if they like a product. Colour accounts for 90% of the decision.
