It is a process of negotiation between employers and a group of employees with an aim to come to an agreement. Employees through their unions or a group of representatives negotiate contracts with their employers to determine their terms of employment, which may include pay, benefits, leave, job health, safety policies, way to wok life balance and many other working conditions. It is a mode of fixing the terms of employment by means of bargaining between organized body of employees and an employer. The objective of collective bargaining is to create a cordial relationship between employer and employees, safeguard interest of both the parties involved in the bargaining and so on.
