We have looked at a wide range of physical storage choices, from floppy discs to hard drives. Then the problem of the storage device being inadequate, becoming lost or stolen, and being corrupted arose. The fact that cloud storage is so prevalent is a breath of fresh air. a readily accessible storage area without the risk of data loss. The security of the data transferred to the cloud is a drawback of this technology in addition to its benefits. A major worry with this technology is its security.
