Medical treatment means the management and care of a patient to combat disease or disorder. Clinical treatment means involving or relating to the direct medical treatment or testing of patients. It means skilfully and effectively working with people who are ill. In medicine and psychology, clinical significance is the practical importance of a treatment effect—whether it has a real genuine, palpable, noticeable effect on daily life. There are a myriad of treatments available, If a treatment is clinically significant, it has been determined that it is capable of bringing a client back to a relative normal functioning, or at least a marked improvement. Simply stated, clinical significance is the ability for a treatment or research experiment to help a client or patient so much that they return to normal functioning from a dysfunctional state.
